Funky Venues is an award-winning website dedicated to showcasing the most outstanding and hippest venues and suppliers you can hire. It brings together select locations and suppliers who service and organise events, big and small – from corporate functions to birthday parties.

Funky Venues caters for everyone from entertainment managers to individuals and can help you to plan all aspects of your event – from finding the location through booking caterers to sourcing entertainment. Membership of the Funky roster is by invitation only.

Funky Venues reviews are edited by David Redhead, a highly experienced editor and writer and current Editor of V&A Magazine. Funkyvenues.com appeals to a design-conscious audience of internet-aware private individuals, event planners and corporate buyers. We work with the best locations and venues.

Launched in October 2006, Funky Venues is the venues counterpart of the Hip Hotels brand. The beautifully designed and engaging directory, with an emphasis on design, quality and fun, sets out to attract superior, distinctive venues and suppliers as members, and is committed to enforcing its invitation-only policy to maintain consistently high standards.

FunkyMark

Funky MarkIn October 2007 Funky Venues announced the launch of the FunkyMark to coincide with Funky Venues first birthday.
The FunkyMark is a trailblazing authentication visual designed to give registered venues and suppliers confirmation of their status as a Funky Venues approved member.

The FunkyMark has already become the distinctive mark of differentiation, reassuring Funky Venues end users – from the individual party planner to the seasoned event organiser – that the venue or supplier in question has an ongoing commitment to quality, and that any membership of Funky Venues is dependant on upholding these values. The FunkyMark is an industry and consumer recognised certification, not unlike that of the Michelin Star for restaurateurs.
