About Shoot Experience
Shoot Experience is an experiential photography organisation producing events, workshops and exhibitions including their annual event, Shoot London, at Tate Modern.
Using a tried and tested format, their team building events put creativity and imagination at the heart of the activity with an emphasis on a challenging yet stress-free out of office experience. The event is the means to a lasting end as participants leave buzzing over the day’s antics, cementing bonds created through their shared photographic experience.
The original Shoot Experience event format is a team-based photographic treasure hunt where participants solve clues leading to different destinations and construct photographs as answers.
They also offer a photographic storyboard - a collaborative storytelling experience whereby each team is given phrases from different parts of a story and tasked with constructing a photo to represent each phrase. At the end of the day the photos are stitched together and the story told through everyone’s photos. Download the PDF for examples of both.
Armed with cameras and creative briefs, using photography as a tool, our events inspire and challenge people to take a fresh look at their surroundings and think creatively within urban environments. With both formats, each team member is actively encouraged to adopt a role, be it navigator, artistic director, photographer or location scout and work as a well bonded team throughout the activity. The day ends with a showcase of photographs. Prizes are awarded to teams for the most creative, funniest and quirkiest entries.
‘A huge thanks again for organising such a fantastic day! Everyone had great feedback and were most impressed with the activity and the creative juices that flowed.’
Rosalind Young, American Express
‘Thank you for making the event memorable; it was great having you at the UN! We look forward to working with you in the future.’
Fred Doultan, United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, New York City
‘It is rare that a day has been so mentally stimulating.’
Louise Cohen, The Times
