The State Apartments are only available for hire on ten occasions each year and are usually priced at £26,000. However, from April 2010 until March 2012 Kensington Palace are offering a fantastic opportunity to privately hire these magnificent rooms at a discounted rate of £10,000 (plus VAT). In June 2010 Historic Royal Palaces will begin a major project to transform one of London’s most iconic landmarks. has lain almost untouched since Queen Victoria’s reign and it is our aim to re-present this beautiful building and improve the experience of visitors to the palace by summer 2012. Most importantly, it will lead to the introduction of some magnificent new event spaces which will be available for both evening and daytime hire. Whilst the transformation is in progress Kensington Palace shall remain open for daytime visitors and private evening hire.

Although some spaces may be temporarily closed to allow the re-presentation work to proceed, the glorious State Apartments will remain available for hire.
