Venue Review
Character: Airy west London ‘business loft’ over three floors.
Funky Features: Outside space for cocktail receptions and lunches en plein air, wet room, idea generation kit, break-out space.
Location and History
The Creative Venue is in Hammersmith, about 5 mins walk from Ravenscourt Park tube. There are good public transport connections and parking facilities. Excellent restaurants and bars can be found nearby on King Street, Hammersmith and Chiswick High Road. Ravenscourt Park is directly opposite the venue, and the Thames is a 10 minute walk away.
The building is new and was initially intended to be the architects own studio. It is an airy, open-plan space which as its own website puts it is ‘innovative and energising’. As such it seems particularly suitable for businesses in search of an inspiring venue for brainstorming meetings or away days.
Interior
Neutral white walls and wooden floors offer the client a blank canvas to work which can be adapted to a variety of events. The ground and first floors spaces are well lit by natural light that streams through the large windows and skylights.
The Creative Venue provides all the facilities to make your team event a success: Including a creative idea generation kit and supplies, flipcharts and stationery, air conditioning and excellent temperature control, printing and copying facilities, internet connection, videoing and filming services. Also available are hostessing, delicious food to order from their chef, tea/coffee/soft drinks and light refreshments.
Spaces for Hire
When you book The Creative Venue you have access to all the space. This means that there is plenty of room for your team to spread themselves in comfort. There is even a wet room!
Main Space: The main space is 1200 square feet with lots of natural light and white wall space for which you can send your ideal room plan to be set up to suit your requirements.
Research Studio: Offers a well-equipped space, which is comfortable and flexible in terms of layout. The studio is ideal for business groups, consumer groups and in-depth interviews. These can be observed from the viewing room or from the break-out space upstairs. Equipment provided includes wall to wall observation mirror, fixed camera covering full studio, full audio and visual recording and use of television.
Breakout Space: There is a comfortable break-out space upstairs with relaxing sofas to offer a change of pace. Research in the studio can be viewed in comfort, on screen, from the break-out space as well as from the viewing room.
