History and Location:
After the success of Wallacespace Covent Garden, Wallacespace St Pancras opened in the spring of 2008 and has been met with great enthusiasm.
A former toffee factory, and more recently a design consultancy and advertising agency, Wallacespace St Pancras has a strong creative background.
Centrally located on Duke’s Road, off of Euston Road, and just two minutes walk from King’s Cross St Pancras and Euston stations, Wallacespace St Pancras is well placed for most forms of transport and is within easy access to all major bus routes.
Interior and Spaces for Hire
A stand-alone contemporary converted warehouse on Duke’s Road, Wallacespace St Pancras is cool, calm and inviting. Its 12,000 sq ft spans over four floors housing eleven versatile rooms for events such as meetings, conferences, parties, launches and corporate hospitality.
A modern, understated nautical theme runs throughout the venue, with the first floor room aptly titled ‘The Rudder Room’. This features a large wooden-hinged door, curved bay windows with fantastic garden terrace views, and ‘porthole’-style windows.
Square Room and Big Room are also spaces to remember, and can accommodate two to 120 people. Nest One, Nest Two and Nest Three are great loft-style beamed rooms with skylights – great for generating ideas and private meetings, with one featuring an ON AIR sign and blackboard. Dog Leg room speaks for itself and is a quirky little meeting room ideal for 12-14 people.
One of the great things about Wallacespace St Pancras is that, like its sister venue, every room is filled with natural light, and has fantastic ceiling lighting and air conditioning. All rooms are fully equipped with breakout areas, flipcharts, Wi-fi, mod cons and fresh coffee, tea, soft drinks, cookies and fruit are always available on each level.
Café Space has a swimming pool theme with a full-scale lifeguard mannequin, ‘seagull’ lighting fixtures and a mosaic pillar. The open-plan kitchen creates fresh ‘brain food’ daily, including meat, fish and vegetarian options, as well as salads, fruit and cakes. You can happily eat away knowing you are feeding your creative juices.
The outside / deck space is accessible from the café and is a picturesque terraced area ideal for summer drinks and receptions, and can be used in conjunction with the café space. Wallacespace is a great versatile place that can cater for a whole range of events and capacities, from a meeting for two to a party for 250.
