Funky Features: Grand house and lavish 17-acre grounds with lake, four grass tennis courts, hard court, cricket pitch, croquet lawn, football pitch and Victorian walled garden treatment rooms and Cowshed Spa with indoor and outdoor pools, gym, steam room and sauna, lakeside treatment cabins, aroma rooms and cinema. Interior

Babington House epitomises the perfectly comfortable country house without all the formality you might associate with grand living. A lovely Georgian house that has been sensitively adapted with classic furniture, relaxing , airy spaces and attentive staff to help you out.

Spaces for Hire

Babington House offers a range of different spaces to hire.

Cinema: the cinema can accommodate up to 45 people in raked seating and has fully integrated A/V facilities. It is available for private screenings and presentations.

Library: located off the main hall with plenty of books and games for guests to use. It is available for intimate lunches, dinners and is registered for wedding ceremonies. Seats up to 14 people.

Log room: Located in the main house with doors leading into the Orangery, the log room is a grand space for a formal dinner or a major meeting or brainstorming session. Offers full AV equipment. Seats up to 32 people.

Orangery: Located at the back of the house with views over the grounds and lake, the Orangery is Babington House’s main restaurant. Available for hire for weddings and parties. Seats up to 80 in a range of configurations.

Study: a small room for informal meetings or dinners.  Presentation and wireless internet access available. Seats up to 8.
