Location and History
The glorious grade 2 (star) listed Royal Victoria Patriotic Building is home to London’s most unusual bar and restaurant. The gothic bar, secret cloistered garden and restaurant sit within this magnificent former orphanage and war time home to M.I.5 & M.I.6 That rare option of free off-street parking completes a very impressive package for both private and corporate clients. Held within the same family ownership for the past 25 years a strong and regular clientele have kept this most secret of venues close to their chest.
Interior and Spaces for Hire
Le Gothique offers maximum flexibility. The intimate sheltered garden and the large scale canopies allow for alfresco dining.
Inside, the mezzanine restaurant and downstairs bar continue the gothic theme. The bar is open to non diners throughout the week with wines by the glass and a range of beers from independent brewers Shepherd Neame, Ballards and Downton.
Le Gothique are open 7 days a week. Monday to Friday 12 noon to 12 midnight. On Saturdays and Sundays always check for availability as for many years they have forged a reputation for stylish yet affordable private parties of all kinds whether they be Weddings, Christenings or Birthday celebrations.
