Venue Review
Character: A den of Moroccan splendour and decadence.
Funky Features: The Number 3 Bar is divided loosely into three sections: an entrance/lobby; a main bar complete with DJ booth, seating and dance floor; and an upper-level mezzanine seating area at its far end. The bar is extremely well stocked; and the DJ booth raised well above the floor-level is a star feature – a sort pulpit for the disco preacher man (or woman!).
Location and History
Just off the historic spaces of London’s Regent Street, Number 3 Bar is easily accessible by public transport. And despite being in the midst of some of central London’s most famous shops and landmarks, it is distant enough from the main strip to ensure exclusivity.
Interior
Its palette of earth tones and deep reds combine to make the Number 3 Bar visually warm and inviting. The beautiful mosaics, candle light, enveloping cushions and low wooden tables add to the sense of cosy but stylish relaxation. And for the moment, at least, hookah pipes are available for those in search of a decadent puff. At the back of the venue is the mezzanine. This section – decked out with large comfy sofas and a draped glass roof – is accessed from an ornate wrought iron staircase.
Spaces for Hire
The space is available for hire in its entirety; and the mezzanine level is offered as a separate hire option. At full capacity, the Number 3 Bar can happily house up to 100 till 3am.
